KUALA LUMPUR 25 November - The Kuala Lumpur High Court has dismissed the suit brought by former PKR deputy secretary-general P Jenapala against the party.
High Court (Appeals and Special Powers division) justice Aziah Ali said the court does not have the jurisdiction to intervene in matters affecting political party.

“Following this, the suit is dismissed. The court also ordered costs of RM15,000 to be borne by the applicant,” Aziah said.
PKR was represented by Ranjit Singh (right) and Razlan Hadri Zulkifli while Jenapala is represented by James Khong.
Jenapala in his suit had wanted to stop the party's announcement of the results of voting for the deputy presidency post, as he claimed he had been barred from contesting.

Jenapala in his suit had wanted to stop the party's announcement of the results of voting for the deputy presidency post, as he claimed he had been barred from contesting.
According to Ranjit, the judge had found in their favour after a three-hour proceeding in chambers based on section 18(c) of the Societies Act.
"The judge is essentially saying, 'Politicians, take your woes elsewhere' or else the courts will be filled up with complaints from disgruntled politicians," said Razlani.
Addressing reporters later, jubilant PKR vice-president R Sivarasa said that the suit by Jenapala has been regarded as a "nuisance suit from day one."
"It is a politically-instigated suit led by Umno's legal advisors. I would like to ask, who paid the RM85,000 which got Jenapala out of bankruptcy?” he asked.
"What interest did they have in disrupting PKR's polls and congress?"
He also wished Jenapala luck with his new party, the Malaysian Indian Democratic Congress, which the ex-PKR man announced soon after he was sacked from the party.
Jenapala will appeal the decision in the appellate court tomorrow
